If you are looking for a good, reliable, affordable (but still very nice) car, then you need to talk to Rob at Calidad Motors. Rob is very helpful, but not high pressure. He was very cooperative with my mechanic, allowing him to thoroughly check out the car. His pricing was very fair and he was very honest about the car. If you want a used car you can be proud of and want to
You will find a great car here for an affordable price. We bought our BMW here for a way below kelly blue book price! Rob is not your typical car dealer and won’t pressure you into anything. He genuinely cares about you geting a car that you will love. He even called us a few weeks after we’d purchased the car to make sure it was running well and see if we were happy with it. Which is how you run a good business and keep customers coming back! I will be back when I decide to trade in my other family car. Thanks Rob!
I first heard about Calidad Motors through an ad while car searching online. They had the car I wanted at a great price and sent an e-mail to Rickey, one of their salesman on staff. He responded almost immediately and informed me that the car was still for sale. However, within the week of preparing to head to the dealer the car was sold. Rickey was gracious enough to let me know that if they ever got the same car in, he would inform me right away. And he did.
A few weeks later, Calidad found the same car that I had hoped to purchase. As soon as they informed me, Rickey kept in contact with me for a week before I actually came to test drive the car. In the process, I also met Rob, who went through a great deal just to give me the car that I wanted at an good price with affordable payments. The staff understood my family’s financial concerns, took it to heart, and got us a deal we simply could not refuse. I’ve worked with several used dealers in the past and none of them have given me the respect, courteousness, and satisfaction that Calidad has. I commend their honest efforts in helping me purchase my car and definitely recommend them to anyone in the search for a used car. Rob and his staff have certainly been a pleasure to work with. Thanks Calidad Motors.
This place deserves less than 1 star! I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I was a trusting customer and should not have trusted these people!
Eli and Rob Salam (owner) from Calidad Motors sold us a car that we regret purchasing. Within 24 hours we discovered that the car had major work done due to a prior accident; therefore, I immediately reached out to Calidad Motors. After almost one week of e-mails back and forth, they do not want to make it right by taking the car back! I’m now thinking of hiring a lawyer to resolve the issue.
Eli (the sales manager) and the rest of the dealership have not denied that they knew about the prior accident (we asked them multiple times if the car was in a prior accident). In fact, the CarFax report indicates a major accident. We trusted them to disclose this information to us when we asked. I can’t imagine that they didn’t know given that the information is public and was easy for me to find.
Instead, after we complained they merely quoted a sign that they claim was hung at the dealership proclaiming that customers have a right to inspect the vehicle. Although we did not see this sign and did not know we had such a right, i did ask them to inspect the car at the time of purchase and they never directed me to the sign or inform me of such a right. I’m of the opinion that if you’re in the business of selling goods, especially used cars, then you know everything about that good to determine its value.
In general, dealers do not have a right to misrepresent a car even if customers do not do a prior inspections. Such notices only allow customers to conduct a prior inspection, not obligate them. This does not absolve the dealership from being truthful especially when they know of a defect.
As a consumer, perhaps i’m also expected to check if a car or any car on a dealer’s lot has been a part of a theft or a crime? Maybe I should also check if this dealership’s licenses are current and updated? Or, if they are violating any other laws or regulations?
I wouldn’t give these Lebanese shysters the sweat off my n— these guys are all about ripping people off for their hard earned money. Yeah that’s right come to America and rip off the stupid Americans. Well guess what we are not as stupid as they think. we have yelp and hopefully people will read this and make enough sense out of it to stay clear of these smooth talking well dressed rip off artists..
Being a car sales person years back I can tell you that absolutely nothing was done in compliance with California Dept. Of Motor. Vehicles codes. Honestly I very seriously doubt that a proper vehicle safety check is ever conducted on any vehicles sold by the we know more about Benz’s BMWs than anyone around scam boys.
These guys took the factory wheels off the 650i I purchased and put after market bent ones on the car. when I asked to see the original wheels the younger associate showed me the ones that were taken off. One had a bad gouge in it and one did not match. later when I approached the older owner of this family owned rip off dealership he said the kid knew nothing about what he was talking about and that the wheels that were on the car came with that vehicle when they purchased it and refused to get me either new wheels from BMW or a set of wheels that weren’t bent. then there were the 4 tires which were badly out of round which they also refused to replace not to mention treads that were showing through which made for a very dangerous situation. these are things that are supposed to be taken care by law before the vehicle hits the road.
Their answer to the faulty treads was sending the vehicle to their mechanic who said the tires had enough tread to comply. tread yes but what about the fact that these tires were ready to burst. their answer ” not our problem” and then they insulted me by offering to give me a hundred dollars. I that isn’t admitting to guilt Then I don’t know what is.
So now that you all are aware of this problem let me tell you about the brakes. the vacuum valve to the booster was leaking oil so two days of fighting back and forth before they finally paid to have it replaced and after offering to pay various amounts other than the replacement cost. and the fact that I threatened to go to Berkley to DMV investigations on Shattuck Ave. that problem was resolved. two days later I was told that my mechanic was an idiot for replacing the valve at a cost of 900 dollars and that their mechanic could have just replaced the seal for much less in a part that BMW doesn’t sell a seal for because its not non replaceable. Wow so you would risk my life for a few hundred dollars less kind of like the radiator hose that was taped. And painted over.
bottom line here these guys should not be allowed to sell another car in this great state of ours. their attitude is one of not caring and having a great disregard for human like and eventually they will and I say this with fear in my heart get someone or many someone’s killed and this scares the crap out of me. all this so they can be here in this great country of ours eat well dress well live well at our expense risking our lives.
bet they don’t ride their family’s on faulty tires and brakes. yet they risk the lives of ours on the piece of crap cars they sell to us.
their safety inspection is a half hour long being a prior car sales person I know for a fact that at minimal at least an hours time should be taken or an hour and a half
For all my Latino friends I will be posting this in Spanish as well and any other language I can translate into except Lebanese.
My contact info is email@example.com I can help you with any DMV issues concerning safety that you might have so we can put these guys were they belong either behind bars or out of business.
thanks for reading and remember to buy from repute table dealers you will pay less and come out ahead risk wise. my next stop from here now that my car is fixed and I do love it is DMV.
I can’t tell you how much it pains me to write this review. My family and I have been loyal customers of Toyota of Walnut Creek for decades. However, after my latest encounter with them, we will no longer be using them as our new car dealer, or for Toyota service.

We leased our 2015 Toyota Camry XSE from TWC and never missed a service during it’s three years with us. As decision time is approaching on what we want to do at lease end, we had the car checked out by the service department. They informed us that the tires, Bridgestone Turanzas, had no usable tread on them whatsoever. Having leased many cars in the past, we have NEVER EVEN COME CLOSE to wearing out tires prior to lease end, so I never really paid any attention to them. The tires only had $36K on them.

The service adviser informed me that replacement would cost over $1000. When I asked what the tread ware warranty was on them, he informed me there was no warranty. Really? Toyota puts $200+ tires on a $35K vehicle and they have no warranty at all? What kind of junk are they putting on their cars? At this point, I had no choice but to replace the tires, as I would be dinged for them at lease end, if they made it that far!

The service adviser told me she would need to speak with her manager to see how they could help me. As we were talking, the manager walked by no less than three times, ignoring my advisers calls for assistance. She finally walked into his office and caught him there. When she returned, she told me he was too busy to speak with me and gave me his card. Getting annoyed at this point, I told her to inform him that I was the customer and that he needed to come out and address this face to face. Me calling him later was not an option! She did so, and returned saying he was doing payroll and would not come out to meet with me. Excuse me, but without the customer, there would be no payroll.

At that time, I went on to the service floor and, after waiting at the counter (ignored by several people), finally spoke with the General Sales Manager. I explained the problem and informed him that if Toyota would not do anything about this, I would go out and buy the cheapest pieces of junk tires I could find and put them on before turning the car in. He was very courteous, in a Salesman kind of way. He examined my tires and agreed that they were shot. He went back and spoke with the Service Manager, apparently getting the same result that I did. Returning, he apologized for the troubles I was having with the Service Manager and referred me to the Toyota Experience Center phone line. He also told me that the dealership had recently changed ownership and that they certainly didn’t want to treat loyal customers this way. He informed me of the process for putting in a claim, to include that it would probably be a week or so before I received an answer.

I went home and immediately contacted the number. The representative was very courteous and took my claim information. She also informed me that the dealership had three days to respond and that I could expect an answer in approximately a week. Within two hours I received a call offering to provide a \”Customer Loyalty Reimbursement\” for $750 to partially cover new tires. This was good on Toyota’s part. But it also left me with the impression that they had heard this complaint before, as the dealership didn’t even have time to respond to any supposed request for input. After disconnecting, I got on TWC’s website an ordered new tires. I was able to find a tire that fit my car for $785 out the door. This turned out to be only a $35 loss on my part, but the tires are not the best! I also had to front the money and submit paperwork for reimbursement. I made an appointment for installation three days later.

When I arrived for my appointment, which was made for 7 am so we could get in and out, the service department had no record of my order and, consequently, never ordered my tires. I was told the tires would be in at noon. Around noon, we received a call that the tires would be in late and wouldn’t be done until after 5 pm. While they did provide me with a rental car at no cost, the day was pretty much shot waiting for the job to be completed. This is obviously not the same dealership since they changed ownership! Also see:https://www.yelp.com/biz/toyota-walnut-creek-walnut-creek-5?osq=toyota+of+walnut+creek. They have a 2 rating there!

We still haven’t determined whether we are going to buy the car outright, get a new lease, or just turn it in all together and go a different direction. However, with this experience, combined with the sub-par materials Toyota is putting on their vehicles nowadays (we had other issues with pieces falling apart during this lease), we are leaning toward the latter. Either way, we will NOT be doing business with TWC again!

Again, this is not an enjoyable review, as we’ve been loyal customers for many years!
I am not the type of person to spend time reviewing businesses as I don’t have the spare time (3 young children and a life) and honestly I am not really interested in sharing my everyday day exchanges with businesses. I own a business so I understand that sometimes things go great and sometimes things are meh and we all move on. That is life. Unfortunately, this review has been a long time coming from other experiences and my experience yesterday was so bad that I can’t let it pass.
I set up an 9am appointment with the service dept. to do regular maintenance on a 2011 Sequoia and rotate the tires. I also asked them to look into a seatbelt that doesn’t latch and a headrest that isn’t working correctly. When I bought the vehicle from Toyota Walnut Creek they sold me, at a premium, an aftermarket warranty that covers most everything except trim pieces. So seatbelt and headrest (both safety issues) should be covered.
My wife was kind enough to drop it off for me with strict instructions not to deviate from what I had already discussed with Toyota service dept. and to give them my phone number (which they already have) in the event they have questions. My wife did exactly what I asked as I saw her right before she went to work after dropping off the car. Come 12:30 yesterday I hadn’t heard anything from Toyota Walnut Creek so I call the Service dept. and talk to an advisor for 10+ minutes who decides she \”can’t find my car so it must not be here\”. I give her my name, my wife’s name, my phone numbers, my wife’s phone numbers, etc and she still can’t find it. I tell her it is very frustrating to be told you can’t locate a car that was dropped off less than 4 hours ago and she say’s \”yeah it probably is\” and offers no solutions. So I drive down to Toyota Service dept. so I can the point the car out to them and am met by the advisor who met with my wife that morning. He looks at me and tells me he has been leaving messages on my wife’s phone all morning (not even sure where he got it). I asked him why he hasn’t been calling my number and he just shrugs. I also asked him why they couldn’t find my car and he says \”yeah, I heard that whole conversation\” but once again is completely apathetic. So he heard the whole conversation but couldn’t speak up to the other advisor I was talking to and tell her where the car was at? Unbelievable.
I wish that was the end. I keep my composure, and ask where the vehicle is at in the process of maintenance and the items that need to be fixed. The advisor tells me that they didn’t do the service at all because he wasn’t sure what needed to be done. I tell him I scheduled a basic service and a rotation, my wife that morning told him it needed an basic service and he looks at me with a puzzling look and asks what is a basic service.? I explain it needs an oil change, filters, and a rotation. He explains that will cost $160. Then he explains to me that the warranty might cover the repair to the seatbelt and the headrest but that he will need to charge me $190 to look at the items and that he is giving me a great deal at that price. So they want me to pay them to look into whether or not the warranty I paid them handsomely for already will cover the costs? It went on further but in the end I asked for the vehicle back and left.
I took the vehicle to Big O today and they are doing a Basic service (their advisor knew what this meant) and a rotation for $41.32 and will have it back to me in 2 hours. That is service at a fair price. Not sure whats going on at Toyota Walnut Creek Service Department but it’s not good in my opinion.
Drove almost an hour and a half to find out I was mislead by an ad they had on their website. They have an ad for a nice all black 2018 4 Runner lifted with some big tires. What they didn’t list was the actual price of the vehicle with all the options. Instead it was just the msrp price with a catchy $1000 rebate. When I get there it was almost $7,000 more and the nerf bars ( running boards) weren’t even on the vehicle. Terrible experience. Felt very mislead by some advertising trickery.
So this past weekend my wife and I stopped by Toyota to get her car serviced. Little did I know we were also going to be purchasing a new car.

We stopped by the Used car lot to talk with Jon Sciacqua (pronounced Shockwa) to see what trucks he had. We have purchased 3 cars from this location, all through Jon, and we have never left disappointed.

When you’re working with Jon you feel like you’re family. He spells things out for you, he makes sure you understand what you’re getting into, and best of all he will not take advantage of you. You know you can trust that he will make sure you get the best deal possible.

The new management at the dealership has also made things easier by giving transparent prices rather than going through the painful negotiations.

If you’re in the market for a car, and are thinking Toyota, go to Toyota Walnut Creek, and ask for Jon \”Shockwa\”.
After 20 some years as a loyal customer. I was in shock of how I was treated in my last visit. I took my Highlander for oil change. I was charged $93 for simple oil change. which I think is beyond expensive. at the time of payment and car pick up I was given the keys to my car and was sent to the parking lot to look for my car. never had this before. normally at a time of pick up someone from service desk brings the car to the customer. I had to find my car and remove all their plastic, and paper left in the car before driving away. I guess I am no longer a value customer.
Total bait and switch. Dishonest. Advertising a 2009 Prius at 5900. Found out car was sold over a month ago..but they are keeping the ad up anyway, in order to get people to call so they can upsell them. It would be understandable if they just sold the car, but it was sold early July.. it’s mid August. I hate crooked dealers.. I bought a New Prius up in Roseville.. honest people there.
Update:
I finally got a call from a manager, he promptly took care of the issues and honored the advertised price.

Old:
They had struck listed on Autotrader and CarGurus at $33,537. I thought it was priced well so I went and wanted to buy it. They claimed that’s not the actual price and could not sell it so low. Eventually they said best they could do is $34,531. I asked repeatedly to talk to a manager. I was told managers don’t like being involved with this kind of thing. This is blatant false advertising! Bait and switch! They advertise low to get you in the door then jack up the price!

Buyer beware. As you should with any used car, get these checked out by a mechanic before buying. Tried to sell me a 16 year old car for $7600 – turned out it needed over $3500 worth of work JUST to get it road worthy. They knew about the problems and tried to hide them by steam cleaning major engine head leaks. Owner was great but his son was a little disrespectful looking at his phone while talking with me.
Terrific family-owned car dealer if you want to find used cars for a reasonable price. I was shopping for a Honda Accord, they had three!! They also have a lot of BMW’s and they also had several Honda Civics and even a CR-V. More Hondas than other dealerships with the exception of an actual Honda dealer’s used lot.

They are located in Pleasant Hill not too far off the highway in a quiet neighborhood. Their website is very clear and has all the info and photos you would need. I checked online through Craigslist to compare and their prices were the best. Plus their models had less mileage. We test drove two and chose the one we had based on color and the exterior condition was slightly better on one of them.

They offered extended warranties and gap coverage and I liked that they weren’t pushy about it.

We went on a Saturday and Sunday and they weren’t too busy. I would imagine some weekends you may have to get someone’s attention, but only if crowded.

If you want a more casual, less corporate experience this might be your place!
I had bought a 2006 GTO from here a few months ago. I talked to one of the owners name Subhan first impression was very kind gentleman and he knew what he was talking about when it came to cars. So I stop by to look at the vehicle perfect condition very low miles and took it on a test run without him knowing if I was interested in it yet. Fell in love with the car when I first took it for a drive. I didn’t have the funds at the moment but he put it on hold for me for 1 week with out a down payment which no other dealership would do for anybody in most cases. Came back on the day I agreed to purchase the vehicle and took it home that day . I have had the vehicle for eight months now and not a single problem with it and he had told me if there was any problems with it at all to bring it back . Super satisfied with this vehicle and would definitely recommend to anybody.
Hello Yelp Users,

I purchased my beautiful 2004 BMW M3 from Walnut Creek Auto Sales. I loved their customer service from start to finish! Aman which is the owner answered all of my questions, showed me the car fax, was very honest, and kept his promise! I am very happy with my vehicle I purchased from Walnut Creek Auto Sales!
Came here to look at a VW Golf I had my eye on after having just had my recently-purchased (from another place) used Golf totaled just 3 weeks after buying (super sad face!). Needless to say, I was not excited about going through the whole process of buying a used car again. But I was so in love with the previously purchased one, my heart was intent on getting the same one back, so onwards I marched toward my second time attempting to buy a used VW Golf.
The first time I was there, the experience was quite pleasant- I experienced no pressure and didn’t get the feeling that if I left I would be missing out on anything. I came back a second time to take it to a mechanic to get a pre-purchase screen, as there was little information on the car itself ( no records of service to speak of, and the ‘service now’ consul light was going on ) . I got a decent report from the mechanics , with a couple potentially-costly things to look out for (one of them being VW’s recommended 40,000 mile tune-up, which appeared to not have been done). When I presented this to Aman on the phone- his solution was to take it to his mechanic to do that work. So- while I’m pretty sure he did all the things (and showed me the report/invoice to prove it)- I was a little leery about not knowing who this mechanic was or what he actually did since I had no say in it. This was of course all done in a reaction to me trying to gain some leverage in bringing the price down.
I went back for the third and final time, and didn’t get much of a deal past what they were offering the car at- however I think I paid what it was worth more or less and drove away a very happy camper indeed– reunited once again with my newly beloved Golf!
Aman was super nice and pleasant to deal with and once the deal was done the whole process was extremely smooth. I would definitely recommend these people for your used-car shopping!
I bought a used Chevrolet Volt from Subhan in Sept. 2016, and I have not had any issues with the car at all. It runs like a dream!! I had the best experience working with Subhan and a few of the other representatives at this site. I really do not like the long pushy salesman experience that most dealerships put you through, but not here!! Actually, it is quite the opposite, they give you plenty of time to test drive all the vehicles you want to consider, take your time to decide, and when you do purchase they make the experience very quick and painless. I bought my car in 30 minutes!! I loved the choices they gave me in protection, and they made sure the car was in tip top condition before I drove it home! I will buy from them for sure next time I need a car, and I recommend them all over town!! Fantastic agency!!!
My fiancée and I had to get a new car unexpectedly. The people here were amazing, it was our first car purchase and they walked us through every step. Any questions we had were answered without hesitation and elaborated further. They helped us choose an amazing car. I was so happy with this place and I will be going back when we need another car.

Not enough words to thank Paul, Who made my wife’s birthday so special. I called him 2 weeks ago and ask for Lexus RX450h in stock for my wife and told him it is a surprise for her.He tried his best and found me one we wanted with no haggling on the price.Actually he gave me the best deal I could found out there. He called me day before her birthday to sign all the paperwork and decorated the car with a big bow and told me to bring her in on her birthday to pick up the car. My wife was very happy to see her dream car on her special day. Paul even volunteer to drop my other car home So we can ride in the new car for her birthday. What a classy young man he is. I will be buying my next car from him from now on. Once again thank you for all you did to make her happier on her birthday.
I bought a AUDI from B&X Motors. The guy who sold me the AUDI, Chris, was a nice guy.

He repaired the front bumper for me, because he thought that was his responsibility, which didn’t show up on the post very first time. Also the air bag light was fixed at the time I got my car. Even it took a bit while, but it’s fair enough for me.

Car was nice, but some small parts needs to take care of by my own, which I might also ask Chris do it for me.

Guys who wants to buy cars from B&X Motors, you can really trust Chris.
I bought a 2006 Mini Cooper S from B & X Motors back in September of 2009. The car was technically \”previously owned\” but it was in such perfect shape that when I brought it home everyone who saw it didn’t believe it. It came with a TON of extras (H&K speakers, Pan. roof, etc.) and Chris, the dealer, was extremely helpful and just as nice as could be. It took me quite a while to procure my auto loan but he was very patient and did absolutely as much as he could to guide me through the process. I have had no problems with my car at all and to top it all off I got it for an amazing price! I am so happy with the quality of B and M Motors that I will definitely be returning here for my next car (which won’t be for quite a few years because my Mini is AWESOME!)

Highly Recommend!
My experience with B&X Motors has been nothing short of excellent. I have purchased several great cars from Paul and I have also referred my friends and family to B&X Motors. By far the best customer service around! It’s always very easy and straight forward. If you are looking for a car look no further, B&X Motors is the best little dealership around.
–Michelle
