5 stars and a million kudos!!

Cuz I love these guys mucho!!!! Okay okay, yes it’s Porsche, but sometimes high end dealerships can be snobby and detached. I swear after the first time I took my car in for service, they ALL remembered me by name! They constantly provide excellent service and never try and upsell me! The showroom floor people are helpful; never pushy. Their service team is, simply put, awesome! Keep up the great work guys!!!!
Probably the only thing they good at is oil change, you need to be special trained for that by Porsche professionals. This guys are pros in that.
But if something else happens that’s it just trade your car in it will save your time.
There is something wrong with my car which is still under warranty but their professional said if I will drive it slowly and don’t put sport mode everything works ok. Of course if I won’t drive it at all I won’t have any problems with it.
I believe cars made especially Porsche to drive, doesn’t matter how I drive it has to work proper I believe there is a word for that like quality?!
Long story short my car has an issue which I didn’t have before tried to explain, no luck with that.
Only suggestion is drive it in normal mode.
I love Porsche but I hate to deal with such \”professionals\”.
Hopefully my it won’t die on me.
Please get more knowledgeable mechanics.
We need them
I bought a ’92 Carrera convertible here over 10 years ago that has been my baby. The first year, the fuel line went out and I had it replaced here along with the first few oil changes. It’s air cooled, I knew the oil changes and repairs would be pricey for a Porsche & I had just had a fuel line go out on a Saab I owned at the time so I knew the price was competitive.

I’m a car gal, what I usually do before a even buy a car is find a good mechanic & I didn’t do that when I bought the Porsche. I ended up going to an independent mechanic for the 90k tune up and mentioned something about the convertible top. The tune up cost what it would have at the dealership and they must have messed with the top because on first start up, the top would say it was open and I’d have to re-shut it for the sensor to stay \”off.\”

Unrelated to that top issue, I put the top down recently & heard a giant \”crack\” or \”cha-ching.\” I couldn’t put the top up or down, I drove it 10mph to the dealership to not cause further damage. I called upholstery places, as well as my son’s friend has a repair shop, and they all said I needed to take it to the dealership.

I took it in, Melissa remembered me from when I bought the car and took care of it for me. The quote I got was higher than it actually ended up costing me, I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap. She was great, it was nice to be remembered from a decade ago and it’s nice to be treated so well. She showed me the part, it was indeed a giant crack all the way through!!

Thanks to Melissa for all the help and to service for fixing my baby!!
We just bought our second Porsche Boxster with the help of Mike and Andy. Both were helpful and explained everything I needed to be explained.

Andy knew a few of the things that were important to me and made sure to point them out

Plus the closing process at this dealership is like no other. We are not being processed by several people along the line.

Last time Andy did all the paperwork for us. This time it was Mike. Easy and much faster then the usual car dealership.

I’ll be back. Hopefully not for a long time, but I’ll be back.

A month later. Dmv issues with the license plates. Andy is taking care of everything. These guys are great! I recommend this dealership.
I recently had an excellent, though expensive, 20k mile service done on my Cayenne at Porsche Walnut Creek. The ease of making the online appointment, the pleasing use of an almost new Macan as a loaner, and the efficient and friendly treatment by service employees John and Mellisa were beyond expectation.
Walked in a few minutes before 4 PM on a Sunday sat in the white Porsche macan on the showroom floor for 15 minutes with my wife. nobody came to help us until finally one man came over and kind of made a funny face at us and said have you been helped we said no and then he walked away. We waited another few minutes and then walked slowly out the front door. nobody said a word to us.

How can you sell expensive cars like this but not even have a receptionist or greeter in the front to meet potential customers? Doesn’t speak well for how this Porsche dealer handles its customers let alone conducts business.
I have been a service customer of Stead for a few years now. Overall the experience has been satisfactory but nothing special considering what we spend on these cars. Recently my experience has been very disappointing. The work is getting very sloppy and customer service is lacking. My GT4 was in just recently and had them put on new tires. The tech used improper tool to remove old weights and put deep score marks on two wheels. These are $7000 Motorsport wheels!!! He/she didn’t even bother to remove the old weight adhesive leaving a mess for me to clean up. Multiple calls and VM’s into my rep and can’t get a return call.
Friends of ours recommended us to go to Porsche Walnut Creek primarily due to their previous positive experience from buying there 3 years ago. I’m glad we took their advice to visit the dealership. Mike Pardini and Chris Bartz, who sold to our friends, made the car buying experience what it should be: no pressure, informative, and flexible to our schedule. Even on PTO, Chris took it upon himself to make sure the details of our deal were followed through on. We ended up with an amazing deal that other dealers were unable to compete with. We also traded our 15 year old SUV and received a offer higher than the amount we expected. Overall a great buying experience and highly recommended.
Superb service, especially from Melissa! My 911 caught a massive nail in the tire and I had two very important meetings to attend that day. She took the car in immediately, gave me a loner to make my first meeting and offered to stay late to give me my car back. I bought my car from Sonnen (live in Santa Rosa) and rarely get that kind of service! Next purchase may be Walnut Creek Porsche!
The $11,000 rip off and the $14,000 ripoff. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Do not trust the smiling people at Michael Stead Porsche. We moved here from out-of-state 3 years ago, and needed to trade in our Porsche. They offered us $10,000 (it did need some major repairs). Another dealership offered us $21,000. An $11,000 difference!!! Obviously, we sold it to the other dealer and vowed never to go there again. A few weeks ago, I did have to go in for a replacement key (which only authorized Porsche dealers can make). When I returned to get the car, they told me I had an oil leak (which I did). They quoted $17,000!!!! because they said they’d have to remove the engine. Fortunately, in the years since, we have found several great places for Porsche restorations. We got the oil leak and some corroded parts fixed for $2800. More than $14,000 difference. If I trusted them, I would be out $25,000. Never, ever go there.
My husband and I recently leased a Porsche and worked with Andy Hwang is is super personable and professional. Andy delivered on the true definition of Porsche’s commitment to excellent and superior service from the moment we made our first inquiry, to test driving and then signing the lease. He made leasing a new Porsche Macan a breeze. We are super excited to drive our new sports car that is getting delivered later this week! : )
