Roesbery Car Care Walnut Creek CA 94597
These guys! \n\nI had just came from a terrible experience at Dublin Kia. Mike treated me exceptionally well, double checking all of my issues and explaining to me what was wrong. The full point inspection was free and he did not try to fix anything that he thought could be covered under warranty. I worked at Jiffy Lube for a while so I didn’t tell him much so I could see how they interact with stupid customers. When I let him know that I needed an oil change, he actually told me not to do it since the oil pan was leaking and the dealership would have to change the oil anyways so he wanted to save me from a non necessary charge.\n\nThey dropped me off at home while the work was being done, and they made sure I understood EVERYTHING. Even pointed out another 3 items needing work and told me NOT to do it there. Extremely nice and trustworthy, 10/5 stars, will never take my car elsewhere. I actually look forward to our next interaction.\n\nThanks again guys
I found this place by accident by looking through Groupon for a deal on brake replacement. I called the shop before I purchased it and Mike, the owner, was helpful from the beginning even discouraging me from buying the Groupon until they could assess the actual problem. \nI brought it in to be looked at first and then again the next day for repair. They squeezed me in first thing in the morning both days and were very fast, considering. The staff was super nice and friendly, allowed me to bring my small dog while I waited, and Groupon price was still honored.\nThe next day, I noticed a squealing sound and again brought my car in first thing a few days later and it was decided that pads may have been defective so they replaced them again, also super fast even without an appt!\nFeels like a very honest, hard-working place. If I have issues with my car again, I will definitely go back!\n\nThanks again guys!
I first started coming here when I needed a smog. I liked that experience, so I started bringing my cars there for other maintenance. Mike is great at explaining what is going on and presenting options. They give realistic time estimates and communicate well. I never have to call for an update because the do it proactively. It’s nice to have a trustworthy mechanic.
We just moved into the neighborhood and my husband noticed a loud screeching noise coming from the back tire. Of course when he takes the car in for the mechanics to check, the noise went away. The mechanic drove the car around and checked the brakes. Nothing wrong! My husband was expecting Mike to charge him for the check up but he didn’t!! \n\nFew days later the noise came back so my husband took it back and the mechanic heard the noise this time, figured out the problem and fixed it!\n\nMy husband does not have yelp, but he was raving about this shop so I figure I write the review for him. He said it was nice to not feel pressured and that the team was very patient with him. He tends to not trust mechanics but for some odd reason he felt good about working with Mike and the team. He felt Mike was very honest about servicing the car. Apparently my husband asked for an oil change but the shop said he doesn’t need it yet based on the sticker from our last oil change and the use of full synthetic oil. So honest! I’m glad we found our future mechanic, especially because it is walking distance! Thank you so much!
It was my first visit to this auto repair shop and it was a pleasant experience! I called the day before I came in to schedule headlight replacement. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was very polite and scheduled me right away for the next morning.\nWhen I arrived, I was greeted right away and they were able to replace the lights within couple of minutes. Overall, great service!
I always feel satisfied when I take my cars to Roesbery because Mike and his staff explain how things work with my car and how they can remedy problems. I have been going there for repairs and maintenance for 10+ years and see the same people and receive the same great service. I highly recommend Roesbery Car Care.
I am not sure if you can use the word that’s coming next in the same sentence as mechanic, but Mike and this shop was a total blessing to me! I stumbled upon this shop via Groupon and Mike told me to come in first to see if I even needed the service before purchasing the deal. When I got there the customer service was outstanding. They were able to do an inspection on the car and schedule me for service the following business day. The highlight of this place: Mike. As a fellow owner/operator, it’s always nice to have someone close to the business. But it was his personality and willingness to share about his family, take the time to chat and he actually showed me what was wrong with my car. It took the customer experience to a whole new level. Although I live in the East Bay, I will come back here whenever service is needed and recommend folks to use this place for sure.\n\nPlus it’s walking distance to chic-fil-a. I mean what more could you want!
LADIES BEWARE!!!!! Went here to get an estimate on my 2013 Acura RDX. Referred by a friend which I mentioned upon dropping off my vehicle. Keep in mind, I have out of state plates. Mike initially told me over the phone, my car would need $5,500 worth of work?!?!?!? I had two options…I could either pay to have the work done or sell my car!!!! When asked what could wait to be repaired he told me the repairs couldn’t wait, it was more or less a safety issue. I then asked that an estimate be emailed with specifics indicating what was \”recommended maintenance\” and what was actually failing on the car. I received an estimate of $2500 for a tranny flush, brakes, shocks, rotors, and a wheel bearing!!!! On the initial estimate, I was told my spark plugs needed replaced which I already had replaced a few months ago! This is absolutely ridiculous! Needless to say, I took my car somewhere else and saved over $1200! Also the wheel bearing was not damaged at all but just so happened to be a $200 dollar part!\n\nIn short, I’m absolutely disgusted with this place and don’t trust these people farther than I can throw them. It’s a shame this still goes on in this day and age and women are preyed upon in this way. I may not know much about car repairs but I wasn’t born yesterday either! I can certainly do a Google search and ask friends for advice. It’s like the #metoo phenomenon in regards to women being taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs!!!! \n\nTimes must be tough at Roesbery Auto! LADIES OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I highly recommend Pep Boys Auto in Pleasant Hill! They were my saving grace!
2006 Nissan 350Z Gran Touring was serviced here for several maintenance projects such as 60k radiator fluid flush, oil change etc. The price was fair and the service was excellent. One time, my underbelly plastics were dragging and I drove in first thing. Mike got on his hands and knees to help me fix the issue at NO CHARGE. Rosebery Car Care is your good ole neighborhood auto mechanic who is trustworthy, reliable. These are good people doing good work. Choose Rosebery for your next car service. I’ll be coming here for my 100k mile tune-up this month. \n\nThanks Mike and team!
Came here thinking I needed my brakes to be replaced (at the suggestion of a previous mechanic). After checking out my brakes, they told me my current set still has plenty of life left. They could’ve easily taken advantage of this situation and did the job just to make some cash. Hats off to you fellas for being honest.
This was my first experience with Roesbery Car Care, and I’m very pleased with the service I received. I brought my 10-year old Toyota in for an oil change and to investigate a strange noise, and while major repair news is never welcome, Mike was patient and professional in explaining the work that was required. I’m so happy to have found an honest \u0026 trustworthy place to bring my aging car, and I highly recommend this business.
Another great service from Mike and his team. Nice to find a trustworthy, honest car care shop. It’s always a chore to deal with automobiles, but they certainly make it a little more enjoyable. If you have any car related questions, Mike is more than happy to explain how car mechanics work. The front desk staff is friendly. Highly recommend and I am happy to say I’m a repeat customer.
Roesbery Car care is the best auto repair that you can look for! They are highly professional, and very friendly and respectful. I went in for an oil change but also requested a full inspection just to be safe before my next cross-states trip, and they gave me a list of the exact things that need to be changed with recommended timeline to change them. What I like the most is that they try to push me to have anything unnecessary changed, or try to be tricky with the prices as most dealers would do! Everything is honest and clear! Highly recommended place!
The representatives were very cooperative. They fit in my request for regular maintenance at the last minute before my road trip and also detected battery leak . Although the car had to be left with them for two nights the end result was good. At times they honor last minute requests too . It’s been a very good experience for me so far with them
