Gas Stations,Convenience Stores
Disappointing. My whole family comes here for carwash like 4-5 cars and we always get the basic carwash package but this time I decided to go with a little higher package and boy oh boy I regraded as soon as I approached Mr Big Shot blue shirt. He gives me irritating look like I owe of him some sort of gratitude for his attitude. I could of wash my own car in front of house for free but today I decided give this people the business and they performed poorly in cleaning my vehicle. The interiors looked like they barely wiped it and there were particles of Fibre everywhere. I explained to the Mr Big Shot that this is not clean and what he does is just wipes a small part and stands still there. ????? I’ll tell my friends and family to don’t gives this jerks any business.
This gas station has gone significantly downhill in appearance and service over the last couple years. This station USED to be my go to station but its just and eyesore in the neighborhood now. I stopped getting gas here and started going to the Shell station on YV and Clayton or the Shell station by Heather Farms. \n\nI stopped by here this past weekend to fill up my wife’s car on the way out to the city (she was on fumes) and it is even worse now. \n\nThe parking lot and pump floors outside the store are disgusting, who knows the last time they have been power washed. There was no clean water in the squeegee buckets, the water smelled and has some kind of oil in it…i checked THREE buckets and all the same. Maybe they could add a little window cleaner in there! Good luck trying to find a squeegee, of the 6 buckets I checked I found 2 squeegees, both of them broken (no rubber on one and the other had half the sponge falling off…I threw them both in the trash! Paper towels…good luck trying to find any of these in the squeegee stations as well.\n\nAnd why is there trash all over the parking lot and grass? \n\nI wish the owner would focus a little more on keeping this station in presentable order. Until then ill continue to drive a mile down the road to give my money and service to a station that is clean and has the basics i can use while i fill my tank.
Brought my car in for a wash and paid for a premium wash. These folks took my money knowing they’re washer was broken and they couldn’t provide the service I paid for. Told the manager who did nothing to correct the problem. NEVER TAKING MY CAR BACK FOR A WASH. Not to mention the bird poop left of the front of my car after a 30 car wash. COMPLETE RIP OFF
This review is based on my experience on 07/21/18 at approximately 1130am. I parked my vehicle at pump #3 and walked inside. Upon arrival there was about 5 people in line and one cashier. After waiting 8 minutes in line I spoke with Daniel. I explained to Daniel that I wanted a car wash along with filling up my vehicle with fuel and I’d like to take advantage of the $.20 off per gallon if still available. The last time I was here I got a pretty good deal on gas (I think it was $.20 off a gallon if you purchase a car wash). Daniel seemed confused about what I was trying to accomplish and told me to go fill up at pump #3 and then go to behind the building to the car wash area, get the car wash receipt and bring the car wash receipt to him. I figured that he’d take the $.20 off per gallon on the car wash bill. Fast forward to the car wash being completed (my car looked great and was pretty fast even though they had a long line). Again, I waited in line for another 7-8 minutes because there was only one cashier (Kim) as Daniel wasn’t there. As the line grew, Kim had to ask Daniel to come up and help her. Upon arrival to the register Kim helped me. I explained that I got gas and a car wash and I wanted to receive the $.20 off my bill per gallon. She was unable to do that on the car wash bill, she went on to say that I needed to pay for the car wash first and then I would be able to receive the discount. I left upset that I was given the wrong info. This is literally over a few dollars, this is not about the money but over the poor communication and poor customer service issues I experience almost every time I come here. My receipt transaction # is 1894 op ID #620
To the people working inside Circle K: You guys rock; specifically Kris and Vincent. \n\nThey make the entire experience, however brief, fun. Take tonight for example. Kris counted for about 15 minutes, pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters. Was he angry about it? Not at all; he was laughing about it actually. Vincent of course came over and helped him when he wasn’t busy with customers. It’s people like this that we need working, everywhere. People who are actually happy about their job.
Moderately irritating car wash experience followed by a an EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL phone conversation with an EMPLOYEE NAMED CHRIS claiming to be in charge… Went here for a car wash and got there at 3:45pm on a Tuesday. They asked which wash I wanted like normal and I went in to pay. I then sat down to wait and it ended up being over an hour before my car was ready. I also noticed upon pulling away that the side mirrors, inside (rearview) mirror and door handles had not been cleaned. I was tired of being there (after more than an hour) so I pulled to a pump to clean the side mirror myself and figured I’d call to let them know that after years of decent experiences I had a bad one considering the incomplete cleaning and ridiculous wait. When I called I asked for a manager and was told by \”Chris\” that he was in charge. I explained what happened and then following an awkward silence he responded in a rude tone to ask why I hadn’t said anything as soon as I got in my car. He also said they would have told me of the wait when I dropped off the car. I told him I was not advised of the wait and wouldn’t have waited if I had been. I also told him that I was tired of waiting and hadn’t noticed all the flaws until on the road. Then following another period of silence he asked (again in a rude/condescending tone) what he was supposed to do. I said if he had gotten me a manager like I asked that they would/should know what to do and elaborated to say that a real manager would apologize for the bad experience. I also said I wasn’t requesting anything, rather providing feedback as my past experiences (hundreds if not thousands of dollars spent there over the years) hadn’t been that bad. I asked for his name and hung up, but after that interaction I have called and left a message with corporate and will also be calling back another day to see if there is an actual manager I can speak to. I will not be going back and would NOT RECOMMEND this location to anyone else. Aside from the bad car wash, the store is not clean. I will make sure corporate knows my thoughts on Chris and this location.
Its the gas station by my house. First time getting a car wash. The process of getting the discounted gas with the wash is way to complicated. The workers are pretty rude, bad customer service. \nI was trying to break a $100 bill so I could tip the washer. The cashier had get approval from the manager or boss, who cares, and he gave me all 20s. I asked to break the 20s down and the boss rudely asks me \”What are you doing\” and gives me an ugly stare. \n\nThe wash was crappy. Nothing special. They missed my cup holder!! Because it was closed covered? Idk. The also didn’t clean my rims well. The got all the grooves except the one on top of the wheel. Basically they only wipe what they see. \n\nTwo stars for the washers that are trying to earn a living. The management and customer service is poor.
The fact that you have to give a star at all is too bad. To say the people working there were dumb as rocks is an insult to rocks everywhere! The car wash took forever and was done by a person that I swear didn’t have a pulse! But he was walking so I have to imagine there was some coherence there but doubt it. The people inside couldn’t figure out how to make change for a $20. He tried 3 times and I finally said forget it. The fact this place is still business has to be attributed to their great location. This will get old soon. I’m sure my business or lack there of going forward won’t make them change, but people, I would recommend going elsewhere. Don’t put yourself through it! It’s not worth the loss of IQ points you will endure by being around these morons!
This place is still crappy as hell. The three women working behind the counter (and mind you one is a shift manager) have managed to go full tard on me. I’ve asked for change for a $20 so I could tip the guy that’s washing my car. You would have thought that I just asked them to perform open heart surgery, or deploy a unmanned rocket to Mars. This is why they are working at a gas station though, because they are not forward thinkers, and are unable to perform the most simplest of tasks effectively.
Decided to take my dad’s car to get washed here (as opposed to the place I usually take it) as this place is right around the corner from our new house. Big mistake!\n\nFirst of all, the entrance to the car wash isn’t very obvious, the signs pointing to it are confusing, and I accidentally drove in the wrong way! Secondly, I had wanted to receive a gas discount for the car wash, but the guy said that I could only receive a discount if I got the full wash as opposed to just the exterior which I had paid for. And lastly, the wash took a lot longer than it should have, and I was waiting for a long time. Plus I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t stay in my car during the wash. And to top it all off (no pun intended) the employees really aren’t that friendly.\n\nWhat more can I say? This place sucks! Never coming here for a car wash again.
I have taken my car to this car wash many times since the station opened. I have never been overly thrilled with the work of the employees at the car wash, but I take my car there for convenience. Sometimes I’ve been sort of satisfied with the results, but mostly, not all that satisfied. Today was the most dissatisfied I have ever been. I purchased the #2 car was and it appears the only service performed was the initial rinse and vacuum. The exterior was not cleaned well at all, and the interior, well, was a joke. I didn’t notice until I returned home and ended up using Armor All on the entire interior and going over the exterior again. It was ridiculous! I will never use the car wash service again!
I guess there is really nothing wrong with this gas station. The car wash is great, the food and drink selection is pretty good, and the gas prices are usually reasonable. So your question might be, why did I give it only three out of fives stars? The reason is simply I can’t imagine being so impressed by a gas station that I give it anything over three stars. I mean come on, it’s a gas station. My only problem with this place is there tends to be a lot of shit heads hanging out outside of it, but I guess that kinda comes with being a gas station.

The guy with the long curly hair was very rude! I’m visiting from another state for work and my flight flew in late, went here to grab some items as I am staying at a hotel near by, and the worker here was extremely rude. He acted like I wasn’t welcome here because I came in before closing. He didn’t talk to me at all when I went up to the register. He didn’t ask me if I wanted a bag when I had many items, and after paying , I asked for a bag , he got very angry with a very mean face and grunted, then threw a bag on the counter and walked away and went to the back. I bagged my own things and left. Worst customer service I have ever received, do not come here!
We have some good news and some bad news.\n\nThe good news is that ARCO has opened another gas station in the area. This one is on Clayton Road, the heavily-traveled main road between downtown Concord and Clayton. Apartments, condos, and shopping centers stretch for several miles. And near Clayton is this station. It typically has the same prices as the other ARCOs in the area – low, low, low. Bring cash or debit card, they do NOT accept credit cards.\n\nAn AM/PM is also included. It doesn’t look big from the outside. But when you walk in, it’s a full-service convenience store, with everything you’re familiar with. And if their food isn’t enough, you can walk next door to Popeye’s, and I sure hope Popeye’s has fixed their management issues from when they first opened.\n\nThe bad news: It’s a small lot, so it is very difficult to drive here. There’s not much ARCO can do about it, and what they did is the best they can do. They fit 12 filling slots into the space, so it’s medium volume. There are also parking places next to the building. But if you have a large vehicle, you got trouble comin’.\n\nARCO is in a very convenient location. If you’re going the \”wrong way\” on Clayton Road, it’s still easy to get in; just make a left turn onto Ayers and you’re there. Be prepared to use all the knowledge you got in Driver’s Ed regarding defensive driving, though.
I have been going to ARCO AM PM Clayton location for many years. Every time I go in to pay and buy gas or miscellaneous items the ppl are super rude. Never say Hi never say thank you. No matter what I say they either don’t respond or grunt. I am now currently going to a new cheaper gas station. They obviously don’t need my business. I always walk out of there disappointed and depressed. I don’t need their crappy rude service any longer. It’s frustrating because it is so close to my house but Fxxk them and their attitudes.
This ARCO is terrible. The night attendant wouldn’t open the locked bathroom for my 6 yr old child. Claims it’s closed from 10pm-6am. However, 20 min earlier I was in there and they were unlocked when I used it. The attendant told me to \”go home\” but we had 30 min of driving and then he told me to \”get the fuck out\” when I asked repeatedly if he could open the bathroom for my son. I will be contacting ARCO’s corporate office. This is unacceptable to treat customers this way.
I was on a mission to find some coffee before my nearby doctor’s appointment, and Lucky Supermarket doesn’t brew their own, so I walked around the block back to am/pm gas station.\n\nIt’s a Tuesday morning and their were four employees walking around, working, stocking shelf items, and ringing up customers. \n\nI chose a dark roast coffee and went to add half\u0026 half, but the carton was empty. One lady happily brought me a fresh one. A girl rang up my less-than-$2 purchase (shelley? Sandy?) And was really nice. She finished helping me before taking care of some other rude customer trying to interrupt.\n\nI was in and out really quickly. Can almost say the same about my doctor appointment…
I went in to grab coffee and gum I put it back because i was running late for a doctors appointment, on my way out a man came from the back and accused me of stealing I’m a young woman and I had to hold my purse out to show him I didn’t take anything. He was very rude and didn’t even say sorry when he realized in fact didn’t steal anything. Most of the time I go in there the people don’t seem happy at all
Arco sells cheap gas, top tier too. regular @3.39\n\nconvienence store items most overpriced ala 7-11.\nsparse beer microbeer (6 pk) selection, slightly pricey.\nbrew: m coffee \”rich, smooth 1.59\n-nope, bland, so so, macdonald’s is better\n\ntake outs:\n-service very good. prices no. only gas.
They need zero stars !!!!!!!! Whent in and smelled like weed kids hanging out inside on counters.and playing there rap music I couldn’t believe it.and two of them are employees and three other guys were friend hanging out.outdated food are spoiled.got sick again.wow going to make a case with franchise complaint department.right now.bathrooms smell bad.\nYou have a bunch of lazy people working there \n.
They should get lessons from the Arco on Willow Pass Rd. The people there are much more respectful and kind to their customers. This one on Clayton Rd. is ridiculously rude. They have no personality. What’s worse is their standing near a bunch of coffee. Why don’t they drink some and then maybe they would gain some sort of perk.
I have been to this particular gas station several times as I do live in the area, I approached a gentleman – term used very lightly – he closed the shop for one full hour but allowed an ‘allegedly’ pregnant girl in, I did not necessarily have a problem with that however when the store was reopened after waiting 45 minutes in the parking lot I asked for the customer service number which was not given to me he was not wearing a name tag and as I left the store he called me a ‘fing f@ggot’.. when I asked him if he called me such a name he denied it, I am currently in the process of filing a police report litigation will follow. I would highly advise anyone in the Concord area to use a different gas station the gentleman was white with glasses and as stated he would not give me his name nor was he wearing a name tag. I only post Yelp reviews if someone does something extremely good or extremely bad. This review reflects my evening.
Everytime I get off work and try to gas up (late at night) they put up hand written signs that say \”closed\” and put all the pumps on \”Reserved.\” And all they’re doing is sitting on their asses behind the counter looking at people as they try to gas up smirking at them. \n\nWhat the hell kind of business does this? I get they need lunch breaks, but with 3 people sitting around inside I’m pretty damn sure they can stagger them and NOT sit on their asses doing nothing for a solid hour. \n\nThere is no signage that states their business hours – all it says is 24 hours. I wouldn’t be pissed off if they actually had a sign with their hours so I would know when to come, but putting up hand written signs tells me they aren’t supposed to be closing the store for those hours. \n\nLost my business permanently.
The staff at this Arco stinks! They are rude and lazy. We always buy our gas with gift cards we buy, as Arco donates money to our school, when gas cards are purchased from the school.\n\nHowever, we always have odd amounts left on cards, once our tank is full. Today we had two cars with amounts of just over $5 and one over $1, plus a full $50 card. However, the staff and owner, Raj do NOT know how to combine the amounts and always say their system doesn’t do that…NO, THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO IT!! \n\nWe’ve called Arco customer service and they say it can be done, but the station needs to call. But, Raj nor anyone else will get off their lazy \u00d7\u00d7\u00d7 to find out and actually learn something! TOO MUCH WORK FOR THEM! So, we have to pump gas for a buck, hang the pump back up, go back in with another low balance card, pump again, then go back in and use another card, then pump again! !! \n\nMeanwhile, traffic backs up and lones get longer and longer….which can easily lead to traffic accidents at this busy station and intersection…\nALL BECAUSE OF THEIR LAZINESS!!\n\nIT’S JUST NOT WORTH GETTING GAS HERE ANYMORE. WE CAN GO TO COSTCO, SAFEWAY OR ANY OTHER ARCO WHO KNOWS WHAT TO DO! \n\nBYE RAJ!
If I could give a lower score I would. These guys cheated me out of $20 worth of gas. This is the station I almost always use. Last year, I had a charge on my bank card from someone I did not know. I was told it was probably from a gas station, so I switched all my gas purchases to cash only. Two weeks ago, I gassed up at this station and gave the lady two $20 dollar bills, and said I wanted $40 on pump #2. The pump shut off at $20, so I went back in and told the lady it shut off, but I gave her $40. She denied it and we got into a big discussion with one of the workers. He said they would check the video surveillance camera the next day and for me to leave my name and phone number. They never called, so I went back to discuss it again. He said everything balanced out, so I asked if they checked the video. He couldn’t or wouldn’t say they did. I told him I would never gas up there again, and will write about this on Yelp. These guys \”took\” $20 from me, so I’m calling them out as dishonest at best. If anyone else has had an experience like this, please write it down on Yelp. These guys are crooks, and one star is too good for them.
I love the coffee bar but I don’t appreciate the weird music being played behind the counter early in the morning. The guy gives me the creeps. The guy that used to work there was super cool but it sounds like he found another job and only works there sometimes. I may have to find a different place because of the weirdo who replaced him.
I love this place because it’s so new and so clean and so easy to get in and out of. The best part is the fact that the gas is the cheapest in all town that I can find. The only reason I give it one last star is because it’s always packed but not so bad. I hope they keep it continually clean \u0026 the prices low…..and I’ll be buying gas here for a long time!
